A very warm welcome to Pinewood Family Group Pre-school, currently rated 'Good' by Ofsted. 

Pinewood Family Group Pre-school is located on the grounds of Pinewood Infant School and has been running successfully since 1983. The 'Family' name represents our core values and was chosen because all members of the family are welcome and encouraged to be involved in the children's education.  We like to feel that we are one big happy family, with our ethos firmly about caring for and supporting children and families well beyond learning.

At Pinewood Family Group Pre-school, we celebrate diversity and equality.  I am proud to be able to say that our setting is, and always will be, fully inclusive.  By 'inclusive', we mean that we never turn anybody away, and will adapt our setting/train staff to meet children's needs wherever required.  We continuously strive to provide a warm and stimulating environment in which all children can thrive and reach their full potential.  

We offer wrap-around care from 8.00am-3.15pm, including a breakfast club, sessional, and 15 or 30-hour funded provision for children from 2 years to school age. We have our own, separate space, including a large secure garden/outside area, but also benefit from many of the school’s on-site facilities, like the woodland walk, garden, drama room, and hall.  

We understand that choosing the right childcare for your children is one of the most important decisions that you will have to make as a parent/carer, which is why our 'Family' team are always available to offer help and support.  That, and the guarantee that we offer a safe, secure environment, in which your children's needs are at the heart of everything that we do.
